The Black Mages

Questo gruppo nasce nel 2003 con l’intenzione di rivisitare le musiche di Final Fantasy in chiave rock. Ne fa parte il compositore più rinomato tra i fan della saga, Nobuo Uematsu.

Attualmente hanno prodotto 3 cd, tutti molto belli, anche se il mio preferito è il secondo, “The Skies Above”. In particolare da questo “Hunter’s Chance”, “Vamo’ Alla Flamenco” e la più caratteristica, “The Skies Above”, da cui prende il nome il cd, e che, nonostante abbia un cantante alquanto strano, riporta alla memoria interminabili ore passati davanti alla play e ha davvero un testo bellissimo, che mi sento di riportare (da questo sito).
